An incredible and rare spiny seahorse was recently found off the coast of Plymouth, UK.
Among the seagrass, the diver Mark Parry, from Ocean Conservation Trust, made the fantastic sighting! Despite making hundreds of dives around the same area over the years, this is the first time he has found this species.
The long-snouted seahorse is native to the British Isles and found in shallow waters seagrass beds. In recent years it is rarely seen and almost never photographed. This was an amazing moment!
