Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our head office in Hertfordshire for an individual that can lend their sales and customer support skills to our Biosystems team.

As a result of the development of our LED lighting and control systems we are expanding our product offerings into the Agricultural sector. Ideally the candidate will have experience of a sales environment and enjoys interacting with customers.  We are offering full training in our products and someone with a farming background or an interest in the UK arable farming, pig and poultry sector would have a definite advantage in this role.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Sales
  • drive proactive sales in Agricultural-sector
  • undertake initiatives that drive sales
  • Customer Support
  • support the team with customer queries, quotations and order follow up
  • provide customer service & product support
  • Marketing Support
  • be involved in direct marketing content creation including MailChimp, LinkedIn, blogs & editorials on our website.

This is a site-based sales position, at our head office in Chorleywood, some travel to customer sites and trade shows will be required.

Hours of Work: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday - this opportunity starts as a 12-month contract with  view to a permanent contract.

Job description

Calling all Fish Keepers: MANCHESTER AREA

We are looking to recruit a responsible FISH-HOUSE ASSISTANT to work at our Manchester site in Wythenshawe. You should have a keen interest in aquatics, preferably marine, display good customer focus and team working ability, there is a requirement to support livestock sales.

Fish House Assistants are critical to the daily operations of our Livestock business. You would be working as part of a very busy team in our modern fish holding facilities. General duties include assisting with the tank maintenance, feeding, handling livestock and dealing with customers in the Fish-House.

Contracted working hours are Monday to Friday (45 hours per week / shift rota), due to the nature of dealing with Livestock, business flexibility in hours is essential and evening and weekend work is required.

The successful candidate should have an interest in aquatics or animal care, and be enthusiastic, hard-working, and eager to learn all aspects of fish husbandry. Full training is provided.
