    Eastern Australia from southern Queensland to southern New South Wales. Coastal reefs and islands, rocky reefs in clear and deep estuaries, mainly common south of Sydney. Lives primarily in the back of crevices, but adults can be approached closely where common. A beautiful species and easily recognised by its colour and shape. Length to about 40cm.
