Central PacificKnown from the eastern islands and atolls of Micronesia. A close relative of Cirrhilabrus solorensis with their juveniles being virtually identical. Males have a broad yellowish mid-lateral band running from behind the pectoral fin to the caudal fin base. Occurs in small groups along reef margins over rubble substrates to about 25m depth. Length to 10cm.
