Western PacificThe coloration of Purple Queen Anthias (Pseudanthias tuka) differs between the sexes. Although both are deep purple in colour, females have a bright yellow band on the dorsum that extends to the caudal fin. Males have a purple spot at the base of the dorsal fin and more elongated fins. It is a fish with amazing colours that will give life to any aquarium. Extremely peaceful, reef safe and should be fed with frozen food such as Gamma mysis and red plankton.
