Earlei Dwarf Parrot

Only known from Palau. A deep water species. Occurs on rubble slopes at the base of deep drop-offs, usually at depths of more than 50m. The type specimens were collected at depths over 80m. It has a distinct striped colour pattern and the adults have a pointed caudal fin that appears to become more truncate in males. Length to 85mm.
