Pacífico centralUncertain distribution. Hawaiian region. Several similar species in West Pacific and Indian Ocean. Most juveniles and female stages of the species feature two ocelli in the dorsal fin, one in the centre and one at the end . The latter persists longest before fading altogether. Occurs commonly in the Hawaiian islands on shallow reefs. Length to 15cm.
